Overview

AssignList helps you manage personal tasks and shared chore lists. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account info from Google Sign-In (name, email, profile photo URL)
• Todo data you create (titles, due dates, steps, assignments, completion photos)
• Shared list membership and display names you choose
• Device push notification tokens so reminders and shared-list alerts can reach you
• Basic app diagnostics if crash reporting is enabled

How we use information

We use your data to sync todos across devices, run shared lists with people you invite, send reminders and assignment notifications, and keep the app secure and reliable. We do not sell your personal information.

Where data is stored

Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and Firebase Cloud Messaging) in regions configured for this project. Photos you upload for profile or chore proof are stored in Firebase Storage.

Sharing

Shared list content is visible to members of lists you join or create. We do not share your personal todos with other users unless you put them on a shared list.

Retention and deletion

Your data stays until you delete it or delete your account. You can remove todos, leave shared lists, and delete your account from Profile. Account deletion removes your personal todos, tokens, profile data, and membership in shared lists. Lists you own are deleted when you delete your account.

Your choices

You can edit your display name and photo, leave shared lists, turn off notifications in system settings, and delete your account at any time from the Profile screen.
